Mytra was founded in 2022 by Tesla veterans who experienced firsthand the rigidity of complex industrial automation and spent their careers at Tesla Bot and Tesla Factory Software trying to fix it.
Mytra is a software-defined automation platform built around three modular components: The bot, storage, and operator interface. All the intelligence lives in the bot and software layer; the storage structure is commodity steel. That architecture eliminates the lifts, cranes, and conveyors that make traditional automation systems rigid and prone to cascading failures, and replaces fixed workflows with a platform that can be configured and changed in software. The system covers 85% of all material flow applications across a $1.5T market where 95% of facilities still operate the same way they did 100 years ago.
Mytra's vision is to build a perfectly intelligent, perfectly orchestrated supply chain.
“Having experienced first-hand the challenges of modern automation leading Tesla’s material flow, factory software, and Humanoid programs, it's clear there’s a massive product-market fit gap in industrial automation. We picked the most common problem in the industry by far — moving and storing material — and built the physics-limited simplest and most universal product to address the problem.”
