Vinci’s foundation model for physics combines AI acceleration with deterministic, FEA solver-accurate simulation to deliver full manufacturing-resolution results.

Vinci was founded in 2023 by Dr. Hardik Kabaria and Dr. Sarah Osentoski with a singular vision: to build a foundation model for physics that understands and respects the laws of physics natively, transforming how matter is designed and manufactured. They believed engineers should be able to innovate at a speed and scale once unimaginable — not constrained by solvers, compute limits, or weeks-long iteration cycles. Vinci’s scalable, enterprise-grade system removes those barriers, making physics usable as always-on engineering infrastructure rather than a scarce, specialist workflow.

Vinci is already delivering end-to-end automation for full-fidelity physics simulation — from ingesting native design files to producing deterministic, solver-accurate results with no manual intervention. The system preserves full design fidelity, automates meshing and setup, achieves manufacturing-grade accuracy at scale, and runs more than 1000× faster than traditional solutions. It works entirely out of the box, with no customer-data training, per-case tuning, or calibration loops, and is deployed in production today with leading semiconductor and systems companies. In practice, this moves physics from a late-stage validation step to an always-on layer for design, validation, and engineering decision-making.

Today, Vinci supports two core production-grade physics domains — thermal conduction and thermo-mechanical modeling for warpage — at full manufacturing resolution. Over the coming quarters, the platform will expand to incorporate additional electrical, mechanical, thermal, and multi-physics interactions. In parallel, Vinci’s intelligence will deepen: from identifying where problems occur, to helping engineers understand tradeoffs, to ultimately enabling more autonomous design optimization. Vinci is building not just a new simulation platform, but a new category of physics infrastructure for engineering teams operating in high-stakes, manufacturing-scale environments.

“The world’s next great intelligence won’t write words — it will build matter. And we’re already shipping it.”
