Jetson was founded in 2024 by Stephen Lake, Matthew Bailey, and Aaron Grant, the engineering team behind North, the smart wearables company acquired by Google in 2020.
Having seen how software could transform hardware-first industries, they turned their attention to home heating: An 80-million-home market across North America still running on fossil fuels, served by an industry built around gas equipment, not software. Jetson owns the full stack: Designing their own heat pump hardware, employing their own installation teams, and managing the end-to-end customer experience which enables them to deliver systems at 30–50% below competing quotes. Their vision is a North America where every home runs on clean electricity — and they’re building the platform to get there.
“Jetson’s mission is to transform homes across North America by replacing outdated, fossil-fuel systems with advanced electric heat pumps.”
